Recorded message saying that my mastercard was lock and I needed to press 1. I hung up the phone since its 12:30 am. I will be contacting the attonery general on Monday morning.

I received a call at 4:50 PM april 11 ,2011 from 203-322-9876 with a prerecorded message that "my debit card had been locked" and that I needed to push the number 1 to connect to their security department and activate it again. However, pushing the number 1 just resulted in the same message being played over and over again. this is a scam be careful

I received a call today from 203-322-9876 at 7:15 PM with the following prerecorded message: Mastercard had to lock my card due to security breach. I needed to push the number 1 to connect to their security department and activate it again. However, pushing the number 1 just resulted in the same message being played over and over again. Either a scam/phishing attempt or a prank call.

Recorded message claiming Master Card has been frozen, press 1 to unlock. Attempted to call the number back and the number is not in service.

Got a call from this number at 12:30 in the morning. I was gorggy, but it said something about my mastercard had been frozen due to security. I just hung up, figured at 12:30 in the morning there was no way it was legit.

I received a call today from 203-322-9876 with the following prerecorded message: “Washington Mutual” had to lock my card (don't have even an account with them) due to security breach. I needed to push some number to connect to their security department and activate it again.

got a call from this number I will be contacting my attorney general tommorow since I am in law enforcement

caller message says from Kessler Security and my account has been frozen. Don't know who they are and have never dealt with Kessler Security

Caller never announces who they are or whose behalf they are calling. Advises Master Card account has been 'stopped' and to press 1 to reactivate. After pressing 1, recording will request to press '1' to confirm or '2' to delete. I pressed to and the recording will just repeat. Notified my back who advised no such call came from them.
