The caller identifies herself as Stacy Wilson from the law firm. She told me I have not paid back a cash advance because my bank refused to honor the ACH transaction. I have stolen money. People are standing by to arrest me and take me to court. She said she had tried calling me several times, but never reached my voice mail. By the way, my answering machine picks up my calls when I don't. She said she has emailed me several times. I have not received any emails from her. She has a foreign accent. Yuo can hear background noise of many, many people in one room making phone calls. After the first call, yesterday, I checked my bank records. No such transaction was ever refused. She told me with penalties and interest, I owe almost $900 now and the transaction can only be made electronically. She will not give me any information on who this bogus law firm represents, telling me releasing such info may harm their case against me. She repeatedly said she was from the "law firm." I finally got "ACS" out of her, not that that tells me anything. I did apply to 200cash.com for a cash advance a few weeks ago. They charged me a $19 one time nonrefundable application fee, but never deposited funds into my bank account. It is a scam! I have reported them to Consumer Affairs. I have also called my telephone company to prevent "private callers" from getting through to my telephone number. Everything about this is against the Federal Fair Debt Colection Act.
