Calling for a mr. phelps. Told them he didnt not reside here. he then asked for me to verify my phone number and I confirmed and then he claimed to be calling the local area for insurance and asked if im insured. So I hung up and realized how fishy it was and then I traced the call as most forums suggested for record.

"spoofed or fake Caller ID" Call *57 to trace back the next time they call (must be done after they hang up, Then report to the FCC.)

Phone rings once, then stops. Not long enough to show on caller ID. Used *69 to get number, called and rec'd "phone not in service" msg. This has happened 4 times in 30 minutes.
