Rcvd call from this number at 5.40 pm in Ottawa. Automated voice telling me I had won 100,000 airmiles reward miles. Press 1 to accept. I hung up.

rang. then when answered line went dead

Recieved call today at 3 p.m. stated that I had been selected to receive 100,000 airmiles to press 1. Didn't press 1 but did contact airmiles and the Nation Do Not Call list.

I also recieved the call and was informed I had won 100,000 reward miles . The confusing thing is there is a contest running for every Tuesday and Thursday for the reward miles. I pressed the 1 but only heard noise so I hung up and also went on to the airmiles.ca site and reported that I recieved this call .I also have Bell Aliant

USA scum telemarketers calling our other Vancouver number at 11 AM. No message left. Second call in two days. Screen this number on your phone even if you didn't get a call from them yet, they are relentless and won't stop calling you (the call is not coming from Quebec even though this is what shows on caller id, their caller id is being spoofed). We just filed a second complaint about this number at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng and we encourage everyone to do the same.

If you have a call screen feature, screen this number on your phone even if you didn't get a call from them yet (this call is not coming from Quebec, it is spoofed according to my hubbie who is a tech guy). We filed a complaint for this number at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng just as we do with all other telemarketing calls we get like these. I hope everyone else does the same.

missed the call but Bing searches prove this is a hotel in mexico claiming to give 10000 air miles to the called if they give credit card no.

Received call re:apparently a prize winning of "points on a card" to press #1 on phone to receive prize.Called the # back "No Service at the #514-671-8989. Ten (10) minutes later 6:30 pm. same type of call but the # was 306-986-2442 with same message....? I would like to know what is going on this number was also " No Service"

Seems like a lot of you have Bell....maybe someone got a hold of all the Bell customers? I literally just missed the call....must be a scam for sure

Got a recorded message on my answering machine last night: "You have won a prize, blah blah, press 1 to accept". Tried to dial this number this morning but it was listed as disconnected. Probably a run-of-the mill phone scam. For the record: I live in St. John's, Newfoundland. I have a land line with Bell Aliant and an UNLISTED phone number, but that's not much defense against automated diallers..............
