The recorded message claimed that they were calling from cardholder services and that this was my "final notification" regarding lowering my interest rates.
The number they called is my company cell phone and company card I have is not a Visa or Mastercard.
OBVIOUSLY A SCAM.
When I held for "the next available representative" the person who answered hung up mid-sentence when I asked that the number be removed.

This number is an outgoing call number only. I've gotten several calls from these people, who swear that they can lower my credit card interest rates although I've never once even applied for a credit card. Before you can get the words "I don't own a credit card" out of your mouth they hang up. If you call back, you get a "this party is not accepting phone calls at this time" message.
I WILL find a way to get around this, and when I do SOMEONE is going to be very hurt, and unhappy.
