I keep getting. Calls from this number.several times a day.even on Sunday-early

For a week now. I found them in Minniapolis Minn. Got a Long and Lat bearing onthe building. Heading up this weekend to mmmmmmmmm..........have some fun in the parking lot.

they call my husband all the time asking for me. They say they are a magazine company wanting to make sure I am getting my magazines. I canceled one a long time ago shortly after I started it. When they call and ask for me-he tells them they have the wrong number and they proceed to bother him anyway.

Daily calls...no answers...pain in the neck!

This is a magazine scam. They claim to be connected with Readers Services. They already had my credit card and read it off to me so I hung up and cancelled it as they were trying to put a charge through. It is worth playing along and giving them fake information to find out what credit card number they have. You will get a call from one person asking general questions and possible telling you not to order magazines from other companies as you are receving adequate supply. Then a "manager" will call, ask if the previous caller was good, and continue with updating your existing payment plan. They will offer a special rate because you are a "preferred customer". They will ask your age, occupation, magazines you like, and whether you rent or own. Do not give any accurate information. They use a recording to verify you and send you to collections when you don't pay the bill for 5 yrs worth of magazines. They tell you it is a low monthly rate for several years and unexpectingly, they charge the full amount up front. To salvage your credit, you will be forced to pay. This didn't happen to me because I cancelled in time and they still call me daily. Rediculous!

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING EVERY DAY-ACTUALLY SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. THEY WILL NOT LEAVE VOICE MAIL. HOWEVER, WHEN I DO ANSWER THEY HANGUP. HOW CAN I STOP THIS HARRASEMENT.

I've been getting these phone calls for several months. Tried everything from being nice to tell them to *uck off ..they get a self righteous attitude and hang up. I actually started receiving the stupid magazines so I call each company to get a hold of all the magazine companies and got a hold of the company that sends them out. I was told it was a special promotional offer. I told them to cancel it. I also cancelled the credit card I have now and changed the number so they could never charge me for any of their crap. How can people get off on torturing and harassing people like this? Is there anyway to turn them in?

It's a scam call that tries to get a hold of your credit card info by telling you you're receiving magazines and paying monthly for the subscription and they need to "verify" your credit card info.
