called and said he was a representative of a diabetic supplier. and from what I've read on the web ,I now know that they are spoofing the caller ID http://www.calleridspoofing.info/ last night it was a woman calling from Texas 210-280-8096 , and both had trouble with the pronunciation of my name, I would guess either India or Bangladesh? guess I will be calling the phone company on monday and reporting it to them, and at&t is also outsourced to india ,as is Microsoft, and maytag closed their U.S. plant and moved it to mexico. so the maytag repairman gets plenty of calls now!!!!!! Maytag is now officially Junk! they use old appliances and refurb them and sell as new. so if you buy a new appliance be sure to dismantle your old one and take it to a scrap yard for recycling.

My Father In-Law called me from his cell phone on Dec 31st and Jan 1st. My caller ID was 707-429-6000 Presidio Hotel. I answered the phone and it was my father in-law. He swears he was calling me from his personal cell phone. How does this happen?

I received a call from this number(3 of which showed up as unknown and the other just said from California) and they told me they were from California and that it was the publishers clearing house and they wanted to ask me some questions(such as where I worked). When I told them no and hung up he called again and then put his "manager" on the phone who proceded to ask me how many childred I had and if I believed in GOD like he did and that he would pray for me. I asked them again to quit calling. They then called again, by now this is the 4 th time and I told them that if they did not stop harrassing me I would call the police.He then said that he was from the FBI and proceded to swear (such as using the f bomb) at me at which point I hung up and so far they have not called back. When I google it the # shows up as Presidio Hotel.
