I have gotten the same call from a lady who wanted me to call back and wished me luck if I didn't. Reading some of these makes me wonder, I did try for a loan to pay for my moms' funeral in January, is that how they got my number? I never took a loan out and payed on time with the funeral home (the bill is paid off). I have clean credit, everything was just gone thru since I recently bought a house. Must be a scam.

heavy accent, english name, threatened and wished luck, this happened to me 2 years ago, luckily I didn't fall for it this time

I received a message from a man with a heavy accent and he called 5 times in 4 minutes. He threatened me with an extremely time sensitive matter and if I did not return his call immediately at 760-514-0147 he could only wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me. His name was Steven Baco (could not really understand though!) This happened to my husband not 2 months ago and we called them out as a scam and never heard from them again. I guess it is my turn now!

THE CALL I RECIEVED WAS FROM A PERSON WHOSE ENGLISH WASNT GOOD AND HE THREATEN TO HAVE ME ARRESTED AND A 200 PAYDAY LOAN NOW HE WANTS 1283.38 NO WAY TO WORK IT OUT EVEN THOUGH I OFFERED! NOT SURE THIS IS LEGAL. SAID HE WAS AN ATTORNEY HIS NAME WAS JOE MARTIN THE CALL BACK # HE LEFT IS 7605140147

The reason they have all this info is because at some point you filled out an online payday loan app. That is how they have your name, address phone #, Bank acc #, place of employment (thank god mine has changed), and they know your cousin, or sister or friend because you used them as a REFERENCE. I am on a mission to put these freaks behind bars, but there is power in numbers! Orientation calling me and demanding that I call him back immediately. Extremely difficult to understand phone numbers could have been 949-743-8313 or 8373 or 6373 or 6313. Called me around 6 times in 2 hours.

they keep calling at work but when you call the same number back it says they don't accept calls or that its disconnect. I have asked them to more than NUMEROUS times to stop calling me. I need to know what company they represent to contact them and have them stop calling me.

This person was telling me that I have an unpaid payday loan out. I do not have any unpaid payday loans out. This man used vulgar language with me. He stated fuck your wife, fuck you. I am going to screw your life up really good. He said you better hope you have a really good attorney to get your ass out of what I am going to put you in. He said it is going to cost you $5k. The call back number is 323-510-2691. I called that number back. they also had the foreign accent. He said it is going to cost you $8k. He said do you have an attorney. He said we will contact your local county police and have them issue you all of the paper work at your job.
