Johnathan Kelly, the name that he left w/family member, calls everyday threating my family. Tells them that I borrowed money from someone and that he has a court order for me to pay that person back. Also told them that I was under investigation and that they needed to contact me ASAP. He asked one of my family members who in the hell he thought he was? Now, how professional is that. Someone needs to track these solicitors down and harass them like they are harassing and threatening others!!!!!!!!!

I agree with pretty much all posts. They call indicating some type of "case number" and told my husband they were representing him in a civil matter. Total BS! We checked his credit report and nothing like this. Believe its an old CC but not sure and honestly dont care. Might change the number to avoid these calls.

Called me at work numerous times back to back to back. I told them to contact me on my cell not at work. This was from a credit card I closed 5 years ago. I've never received letters from this company or any other before this so all late fees etc they are claiming have been accrued these past 5 years is ridiculous. Besides I'm doing credit repair now so I will go through that not some collection agency that may or may not clear it off my credit report.

Basically, this number will harass you and try to scare you by stating they have a civil suit in the county where you live. The problem is, they are a debt collection agency try to collect their money. THERE IS NO LAW SUIT...They don't have the authority to notify you of a pending court date, the acutal county court does. So, that's when you know it's a lie. If you notice they say they are calling on behalf of a group of attorneys, but they fail to mention the name of the actual lawyer. They try to intimidate you by using false information. And when, and only when you finally agree to a settlement, they take your money and don't clear your account. They are liars, and basically just trying to make their commission. Be very cautious of these individuals, and like I said, they are a COLLECTIONS AGENCY....NOT LAWYERS. A lawyer will not waste their time and money trying to collect a misely 700.00. A collections agency will. Be in mind, they are all just like car salesman. If they don't sell a car, they don't make an income. Same way with these guys, if they don't collect something, they make nothing....

got a call 8am saying we owe money told her i don't know what she's talking about lady got very rude i hung up she called back hung up again and then she called again!

My 14 yr old son started receiving these calls yesterday, 11 Jan 10. They were looking for a Robert Lake Jr. about court proceedings in Russell county Alabama. My son told them they had the wrong number. He received 3 more calls the next day and told them again wrong number. I then called them and had a very confrontational conversation with a female employee.

Stated they were going to file a civile suit against for a credit card.I asked documentation be sent through the mail, stated they could not send unless I agreed to a form of payment. Told me I should get a loan through Lending Tree.
