Called said I owed money on a Payday loan which I do remember applying for but never followed up on. I called and a person with a speech problem or really bad english said I must call. I google the law firm and Guess what its fake dont give these scum bags any info, its a scam.

Paul Thompson has called me several times claiming to be an attorney with The Law Offices of California. He told me that I was going to be arrested by federal Marshalls on December 31, 2010 and my court date will be on the same date if I don't give them a call immediately. They would not supply me with any particulars of this so call case. This is something I feel the FBI should investigate. There was a lot of "white noise" in the background.

I received a call telling me that I was going to be arrested in a few days by federal marshalls. They wanted my attorney information and I told them that if they know so much about me they should know that as well. I hung up and the guy called back six times in a row yelling at me. I contacted my local police and the fbi and heard nothing but how much this is a scam.

I have received two calls from people saying they are attorneys at that they are charging me with fraud because they said I received a $350 payday loan (which I never received) and I haven't paid back the money. But if I give them $5,000 they will make it go away. First of all receiving a payday loan is not FRAUD. And how can you pay $5,000 on a $350 loan. They called my job as well telling my employer I commited theft and fraud. THANK GOD my employer had enough sense to ask them to send the paperwork (WHICH THEY NEVER RECEIVED BECAUSE THERE IS NONE). They tell me I have to appear in court in California when I live in Maryland. THese people are nothing but scam artisits. They need to get a clue.

they said myw ife is going to ail for fraud unless we send them $5,000 on a $350 loan we suspoeilsy recived...we never got no $..but as the other perosn above me my wife also apllied for a real loan but never folowed up on it

I am recieving calls from several diffrent people saying they are going to put a "lock" on my ssn if i dont talk to them. I cant even understand these people, they barely speak english!! they also say that if i dont call them back, they are not responsible for what may happen to me.

"angie Jones" left msg on my phone saying that I owe on a loan (which I NEVER GOT) and that if i didnt call or have my attorney call "she couldnt be responsible for what would happen to me". THese scumbags scammed my info off the internet loan app I filled out to get a legimate loan... Now they are calling my work every day and i am getting in trouble for it....
