Says he is not a debt collector, with Federal fraud in California. He is not to collect money, but after his giving me a spiel about how i owe monies, he finally told me I owe on a payday loan. Couldn't tell me when it was taken out, just that the monies couldn't be gotten from my account in Dec last year. I did have a loan, all was paid. He was not authorized to collect anything, but I had 2 solutions. I could take my chances legally, in which case a sheriff would be at my door in 3 hours with a summons, or I could fax information to them to pay off today only. SCAMMERS-R-US. He has a distinct Indian accent, and it sounds like a call center in background. Fax # to send info is 206-309-4893. He's in Bishop or Manmouth Lake California, fax is in Seattle, WA. Doesn't sound right to me at all.
