Claimed that I took out a loan in Feb 2009 that I never paid back and they want to take me to court or I could pay voluntary resitution. I gave then an old prepaid card # that I never used and now I am calling my lawyer. Tried to tell the that the government passed a law allowing pay day loan companies to go after people who have not paid for their payday loans in 6 years. I think it is a bunch of crock if you ask me. I have not had a payday loan in over 4 years.

Called for an employee, said he was with Potter County Investigation Ddepartment. Said it is urgent to speak with her. Said he would take further action if needed. Lots of background noise, other scammers talking to other callers that I could hear giving the same lines to. I could tell this was a sweatshop type operation. He said the above number was only number he could be reached at. Most local county offices don't have Toll-free numbers they have a local number. When you call the number back, they answer the call as Interchex Company.

I also received a call from this #, from a guy stating he was Investigator Donald Lomax. He stated I had a online payday adv from some company from Oct 2009 that I defaulted on as of Jan 2010. I asked him what company, he said he didn't have that information, but I had to pay them either $1918.52 w/in 90 days or I would have to pay $2232.15 if the claim went to court. I asked him what company he worked for, at first he said Bahamas Marketing Grp (BMG), then he said Sand Point Capital. I asked him could he send me proof of the court order & also the defaulted loan paperwork, he said only after I paid either of the two amounts due. I told him ok & gave him some prepaid card# that I never use. On a daily basis, he calls me atleast 15times. I did a little research on this company, which is a fraud, they buy information for internet companies whenever we apply for a loan on line, pay certain bills online or simple request any type of information etc. I must admit, I was a little afraid of this at first, until I did some research..DON'T pay them anything. Also asked him, if he has my home address & work address which he infact did state, why would they allow almost 2yrs to go by before they took any legal action, oh course he had no answer, I even played dumb & asked him what a retainer fee & restitution are..guess what, no answer as well, he stated "thats not needed to pay a bill"...SCAMMM!!!

Stated I was being taken to court, and i shgould settle out of court. Ask they to send me details of what I own and to whom & the settlement amount. The letter came. Showing I owed $1236 but would settle for $430.The letter stated I owned to BMG. I am still waiting to an answer. I she sent all to the Fair Trade Commission

Looking for someone (not me) and says they are a target of an investigation, that they need to call voluntary or they will be turned over to Logan County. (they try to make it sound serious)....I'm ignoring the call

illegal debt practice - not supposed to reveal what debt is about. I don't even know the person Maybell louise ? who is that??
