Constant calls , no message

The usual call & no message left but still they continue to call

09/02/2009-1st call was @ 8:17AM, 2nd call @ 12:51 PM today.Didn't 1st call,& wasn't home the 2nd call & no message was left either time. I won't answer numbers I don't reconize.

Do not call back! Do not tell the caller your personal message! Just shut off if this number calls you. It introduced itself as the credit card company. Yes, it is a scammer!

Has been calling several times a day

This is interesting, Right after I got a call from the 859-283-8074 number, I got a call from the 513-754-9822 stating they were from Macy's this time, Asking for the same person, Cheryl. (Out of Cleveland OH), This was the same voice that called just a couple of hours ago stating she was from Citi and would not finish the sentence. === Associated number 859-283-8074:=== Got this call too and asked for someone the did not live here. She said that she was calling from City and I asked what city ? She then said that it was personal and they would take the name off the list. The number is out of BOONE County, Florence KY The number is also redirected through Cincinnati, OH so you know that these guys have an alert system in place. I would also notify the KY State Police and the BOONE county PD to see if they already have that number on file. If this scam has been going on for a while it is probably already known depending on the number of complaints. If you think that you are being scammed than regardless of whether you are or not, you are advised to call your local police and report it. This way if your ID is ever stolen you have record of this on file. Without it you will have great difficulty trying to answer why you did not notify the authorities. Be advised that charge cards only call you when you are 7 days late with a payment and if they do you do not have to give them any personal information . They already have it on record. If your charge card company does call you randomly like that then get a new one and transfer your account to one that does not. Be advised that the authorities just broke up a PBX scam ring that hacked into companies PBX (company phone) system to get personal ID information and sell it to the higest bidder. I would not be surprised if thay also use the companies phone system to call these people to conduct their scam. Calling in regards to a Office Depot account held at Citi Bank. Caller never leaves a message and calls non-stop.

I answered a call from this number and they claim to be with Citi Bank. But be aware, it is a scammer trying to get you to call back and give them your SSN and bank information. DO NOT CALL BACK!!
