stated that they were going to contact local police for a check that I had out and I have not had a checking account for a long time. I have recently paid off everything on my credit report. they called @ 9: something this morning. what is this about and why do they contact you and not send a letter re: this information instead of calling.

called twice once at 11:34 and again at 11:37. Left a message the second time. Stated it was check fraud and it was urgent for me to return the call. When I called back they wouldn't give any info, just that it was for a payday loan in 2007 for 945. When I asked them to send me info, I was transferred and my file was marked as refusal
