These people happy to report have finally stopped calling me since my friend chewed them out! I am still going to maybe block all private callers but my husband will have to call the phone co. to do that cuz its in his name. Sometimes I get a important call from a private number but I know they are calling so if I block all calls this could be a problem. Is there any answer to these scammers? Will they call me again in the future..donot know but I am checking my credit reports and all so far nothing there...sigh or relief...everyone please check your credit reports especially if you had a loan with these people years ago...better safe than sorry

Received a call from this James Griffin (asshole) who stated that I bounced a check, I have never bounced a check, hint-hint! Say's he's calling from Dickers and associates, but the number her calls from is a restricted number. Claims that I took a payday loan out in 2008, which I did, but the account was settled through another scammer International Asset Group back in 2010 so this rung a bell for me! Me and this idiot got into a heated arguement because I paid 600.00 to the other scammer and when I called and inquired about the status of the loan it is showing not paid and was sold to god knows who, they couldn't name a company. I called my bank to get the number of whom I made the payment to and the number is always busy, so I was scammed for 600.00 bucks! Called Dickers and Associates today and a woman answers the phone and could not provide me with a address, website address and when they answer the phone they do not name the company at all! Do not give any information to this company they are a SCAM!!!

I told her to stop calling me two days ago. She told me she wanted to record what I just said I said NO! I hung up on her. She called back I said stop calling again. She called back a second time. I had a friend tell her off! He hung up on her three times...she kept calling back...we finally took the phone off the hook...we kept telling her we are calling the police...she did not believe us...finally quit calling and we notified the police...the officer told me to calll the phone comp and block private callers...will be calling them soon to block these calls for good...

Just spoke to an attorney about this scammer that keeps calling me from this number. The attorney said it is a scam! DONOT give them any money or personal information. Report this to the FTC, FBI and any local district attorney's office. Here is the website for the attorney that sent me an email to get me on the right track. This business called Vickers & Assoc is calling my home harrassing me telling me I have an old payday loan debt and if I do not start making at least $50 per month payments to settle they will take legal action and give me a summons...called me again today...said my grace period is ending and they got a fax from the courts to proceed my case. I am reading internet posts about this type of scam on www.800notes.com you can report this number there too. Thank you.

Called me today and stated I took out a pay day loan in Feb. of 2009 and that if i didn't attempt to pay them back over the phone then they would be serving me papers for check fraud within 24 hours. I actually fell for this scam last year. An "attorney" called me last year saying the same thing, he sounded believable! I gave him my bank acct info and made 3 pymts of 300.00 once the pymts were finished I was supposed to receive all documentation in the mail including the original action against me. I never received anything, when I tried to call them back they never answered, but the voice mail was for a different attorney than who I had spoken with and eventually their number was disconnected. I received calls last year from this same attorney (Baker and Assc) I never answered the calls because I thought it was the same scam, needless to say every message they left was to inform me they were serving me in 24 hours. I was never served. The financial place they say I got a loan from is BMG Financial and I could not find anything about them that stated they were a loan co. And when I look up Baker and Associates every web address is for a real estate firm. Until I see paperwork I am not ever falling for this again.
