I was staying with my parents in Grand Rapids Michigan and a man left a message on their answering machine. The person calling described themselves as Mr. Valentine. He left the number to call back before a set time. He wanted someone anyone to call back that day he called. He seemed to have no idea who we were or who he was calling for but expected someone to respond promptly. The message was left on my parents phone on 10-21-2010. I have come across the same number on my own caller id. The messages that were left sounded raspy. They had a lot of static and I couldn't make them out, yet I could hear the phone numbers being sounded out at the end of the message by a faint male voice. The same faint crackly staticky sounding message was left on my phone twice before it was left on my parents answering machine. Those messages had been left a couple weeks before the one from my parents line. They happened in the month of October as well. I had been making a lot of calls to auto dealerships and many have the 877 area code in their advertisements on the websites online. I wonder if this is just a scam from an auto dealership.

Said that I had a warrant out for my arrest and something to do with regeant.

This is the 4th number this so called company has used to call. They have left messages and have used 3 different names. Talk about a name fishing scam !!! These people have got to be stopped. I have read 100's of reports of people complaining. Unplug their freaking lines for crying out loud.
