Caller placed call to both my cell phone and workplace's main voice mail. Messages stated that a "fraud" complaint had been lodged against me. Failure to return call at the above number would result in legal charges, including arrest, brought against me. Complaint against this company has been filed with the Attorney General's Office of Georgia because that is where this company is located.

Said that I was going to be arrested for check fraud, left a number for me to call back, and stated that it was urgent that I call them back immediately. Didn't call them back!

Got a call from this number left voice message that a person associated with my phone number and claim was involving someone else and me and that I should return their call. When I returned their call it went straight to voice messaging. I have never met the person that they said that I was involved with.

Persons calling leaving messages stating a summons of complaint is going to be filed for ck fraud and to contact them back at 6782795553 to speak with kerry thomas. In panic since I dont use checks I called back and company sounded legit. Cauffman, heines and assoc. Rep put me on hold and then kerry thomas answered and then outre me on hold again and then I ended up crossing lines with another person calling in. strange! during this happening a 8883158365 called my phone. Both are the same association. searches these numbers and complaints have been made of scam. I've put these numbers in a don't call log. And they are being investigated. I'm keeping message and info they have left me in case I have to give investigators information for further info.

I recently reported them to the FTC and my State's Attorney's Office, Fraud division. This company outright refuses to send anything in writing and are violating the Fair Debt Collections act. Hopefully they will be shut down soon
