received call from 888 454 3944 on my cell. I called # and told person that I am on do not call list. She bacame rude and hung up

Got this text this morning here and sounds like a scam to me and it said this Text you have been chosen to receive a $100 cash rebate card! to find out more call toll free 888-454-3944 TXT STOP to STOP

Same situation...I'd won a $100 gift card...but they wouldn't tell me anything about them or what contest it was. asked for my credit card number and a bunch of personal information. Sounded very fishy. I called the FBI fraud division and was told to report it to www.fraud.org.

Received the text "You have been chosen to receive a $100 Cash Rebate Card! To find out more call toll free 888-454-3944 TXT STOP TO STOP" Also received a call last week from a different 888 number asking me if I'd like more information regarding the education assistance I signed up for. I'm out of college and never signed up for anything. Could possibly be a related scam.
