This inspector called ma about paying off a magazine subscription from i lived in Florida over 7 years ago. He said i was being subpeonad to a NY court (even though I live in CT) about this unpaid subscription. He wanted me to pay $600 but when i asked him for paperwork he refused. He says this magazine company is hoping I don't show up to the court date so they can go after me for more money. I told him i never received any subpeona and he said I would have if I still lived in Florida. Really give me a break if he was able to find me why didn't the courts. These debt collectors are trying anything in the book to make people pay. I don't mind paying what I owe but show me the paperwork first then I will pay.
