Gentlemen told me this call has to do with my mortgage. He would not give name or company.

Federal Agency Grants Dept. $7k for grant, call back manager at; 202-905-0360. Spoke with Indian accent. Wanted to know how I wanted my $, told him cash. Also gave me a confirmation #. Think I will call just to see what the scam is.

Hangs up!! Just don't answer it from now on.. they will stop Calling.

Called me 5 times today July 21st, 2011. claiming I took a cash advance and never paid back. They had all my information and my personal references I use on other things. I don't know how they had it but I didn't verify nothing for them. Then the more I questioned and raised my voice with them. All they kept saying is this call is being recorded and will be played in front of the attorney general at court. Nevr said how much I owed or made it real clear what loan company he was collecting on behalf of. he may have said U S Cash I thought I heard U S S Cash. He sounded foriegn and I couldn't understand him then the supervisor came on I couldn't understand him except his threats of jail time and attorney general will hear all he said. Then it stoped for he time being

I have fell for it! This call was pertaining to 2 puppies being shipped and demanding more money from SAScargo pet delivery service. I got the listing from petfinder.com a reliable website but didnt read the fine print warning me. Out 600.00 and in the dog house so to speak. Never will I again trust my heart instead of my mind where this is concerned. Sent from a lady advertised from las vegas and now dealing with calls from this # saying they are in New York and need more money. The snake bit me twice doing research and confirming everything from different resources but still getting the bone not the dog. Be very catious!Now its left me with an upset child, wasted time, and puppiless on easter.

I received this type of call several times in the last couple of weeks. They are telling me that I've won several hundred thousand dollars in some sort of sweepstakes, but I have to send them $160.00 to cover shipping and handeling. This person was very, very hard to understand. Probably was calling from India, although area code 282 is Illinois. Like I said I've received several of these types of calls, so I thought I'd have some fun with them. First of all the caller (which was very hard to understand) told me I would have to get the money to New York by 5:00 pm today. I asked him if he knew where I lived. He read off my address to me. I then asked him what state I lived in and he replied MT. I asked him what MT stood for and he replied Michagan. (count one for me!!) He said that I could use Western Union to get the money to his office. I then told him that my wife had the horse in town and it would be several hours before she would be home, (two for me) and I would have to feed the horse and let it rest before I could make the trip back to town. (three for me) The horse was really old and didn't know if it was upto doing two trips to town and back on the same day. (make that 4 for me) He finally extended the time until 5:00 pm tomorrow if that would help me. I assured him that that would probably work. He gave me a "code #" and said if anyone called back that they would have to give me that # and if they didn't to hang up on them. The code number he gave me was 19540. He called me back about an hour later to make sure that I hadn't talked to anyone else, and repeated the code # and made sure I hadn't talked to anyone else that might have called me about the same winnings. I told him that my wife hadn't gotten back with the horse yet!!!! (five for me!!!) It was sure fun to see how long I could keep him on the phone. I got him to stay on the line about 19 minutes. What a riot!!!

I am in the UK. I keep getting calls from this number, when I answer, they just hang up.
