7/1/2011 9:22 am Caller ID = PBX Controlled 916-596-6160 Tracy with Sungate Energy Solutions called asking for The White’s. I told her she had the wrong number and she launched into her pitch by asking if I owned my home. I said yes and she asked a series of questions about my home and said that Sungate was offering a significant discount on their product in exchange for placing a sign in my yard. I allowed the call to continue until she asked for the address and then I claimed that I had a knock at my door and I wanted a phone number to call her back. She could/would NOT provide a call back number. At that point I expressed my discomfort with doing business with any telemarketer who could not provide a contact number for me to call back and requested placement on their DO NOT CALL list. During the call, I verified the website address for the company [http://www.thesungate.com/contact_sungate_energy_solutions/index.cfm]and immediately following the call I requested placement on their DO NOT CALL list via their Contact Us website page.

Receive these calls as many as three or four times a day from various numbers, but always a 619 prefix. I did not sign up for anything, nor do I recognize these numbers. Always happens when my husband is at work. Some calls are early in the AM, and late at night. Has been happening for months. Yesterday I answered the call from 916-596-6160. Politely asked them to take my phone number off their list, and they said they would. Today they called again at 11:18 PM from same number: 916-596-6160. If I change my cell number will it stop?
